Abstract

In an organization, human resources are very necessary to achieve organizational goals. The quality of an organization's human resources can be assessed from the performance of its employees. Therefore, organizations need to carry out activities or efforts to improve employee performance. There are several factors that can be considered to maximize performance, including having good leadership, implementing an Islamic work ethic, and creating a supportive environment. However, in reality, many organizations do not pay attention to the factors above, because they are considered insignificant in improving employee performance. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership, Islamic work ethic, and work environment on employee performance. This research uses quantitative methods by processing primary data through questionnaires given to BMT Tumang Boyolali employees. The sample from this research was 37 respondents using random sampling technique. The data obtained was then processed using the SPSS 23 analysis tool. The research results showed that leadership had no effect on employee performance, with a significance level of 0.850 which was greater than 0.05. Islamic work ethic influences employee performance, with a significance level of 0.006, which is smaller than 0.05. The work environment has no effect on employee performance, with a significance level of 0.766 which is greater than 0.05.
