Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transparency, zakat literacy, education, and institutional image on public interest in paying zakat (Study at Solopeduli Head Office). This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of people who pay zakat at the Solopeduli Head Office, the sample is taken using a formula of 25 times the number of independent variables, in this study there are 4 independent variables, namely: Transparency (X1), Literacy Zakat (X2), Education (X3), and Institutional Image (X4), the sample size in this study was 100 respondents (25 x 4 variables) and the sampling technique used was random sampling. Data analysis using multiple linear regression model. The results of this study partially affect zakat literacy (X2) and institutional image (X4) while partially transparency (X1) and education (X3) variables have no effect on people's interest in tithing (study at the Solopeduli Central Office). Meanwhile, the variables of transparency, zakat literacy, education and the image of the institution simultaneously affect people's interest in paying zakat (study at the Solopeduli Head Office).
