Abstract

This study aims to clarify the role of Baitul Maal FKAM Surakarta in the recovery of the Indonesian economy after the 2020 Covid-19 crisis. Covid-19 causes different economic problems at different economic levels. This is evident in the highest levels of the economy, the state governments that are increasing the strength of government bonds. This is because some areas are restricted to reduce the number of Covid19. Therefore, tourism and logistics trips are unilaterally rejected and obligatory. This is inseparable from the role of institutions operating in the economy. One is Baitul Maal, which deals with the management of funds in Zakat and Waqf. Baitul Maal can also be physically interpreted as a place to store and manage all kinds of assets that generate income for the country, but its development has not received much attention from the government and the general public and has traditionally been. The study is qualitative using the Spradley study method, which analyzes the area as the primary focus of study, and the results of the analysis show the indirect role of Baitul Maal FKAM Surakarta and other humanitarian institutions in post-Covid 19 activities.
