Empowerment is an alternative in dealing with problems that exist in society, especially in the economic field. This study aims to provide an overview of the role of BMT Tumang in carrying out economic empowerment and the obstacles and challenges for BMT Tumang in encouraging the welfare of the surrounding MSMEs. In measuring the welfare of MSME actors, the SWOT Analysis Method is used. This study uses data collection techniques in this research is an interactive technique, namely through in-depth interviews and non-interactive through documentation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the role of BMT Tumang in the welfare of this Economic Empowerment is very large, not only in the MSME sector but also to the people who live around it.References
